Welcome to the Seniors!

When you move into your final year here at Park, you will join the Seniors.  It is our aim to combine all of the elements of all four other houses to become a “super” house.  Our focus throughout the year is to ensure that you can be the best that you can be.  The rest of the houses look to the seniors for leadership.  It is from the Seniors that the Head and deputy Head boy and girls are chosen, this role is the most prestigious role that can be achieved.

Throughout the year there will be many opportunities to celebrate our successes, however the pinnacle of the year is the end of your Senior year celebration.  This year the bar has been raised and we hope that year on year we can build on this celebration success.  As the Seniors, we endeavour to equip you with the skills that you require to move on and achieve success in your college course or apprenticeship.

As a Director of House, I work closely with Mrs Lowden (deputy Durector of House) and Mrs Coffey (Pastoral Coordinator) to ensure that we meet your pastoral needs and remove any barriers to academic success and your pastoral well being.  Mrs Coffey is also available through out the day, she is there to deal with any pastoral issues that you may feel require more immediate support, should you be off ill, it will be Mrs Coffey who calls to check in on how you are doing.  Please do not hesitate to contact us via email or phone should you have any concerns, queries or information that you feel we should be aware of. Remember, a problem shared is a problem halved!

We are extremely fortunate to have a bespoke team of form tutors.  Our tutors comprose of 7 lead teachers whose specialism is either Maths or English.  This ensures that you are able to access support with the core subjects as well as being supported by their expertise as experienced teaching staff.  Your tutor should be your first port of call for most concerns.  You will see your Form tutor daily, they will talk to you about how your day has been, as well as ensuring that you are completing your Prep work during prep sessions to enable you to be the best that you can be.  Please remember, our students are our priority, this means you.  If it matters to you, it matters to us.
