Our Year 10 football team enjoyed a great game away at Fisher More this evening.
In windy conditions the team went in to the half time break 1-0 up after a goal from Connor Smith. In the second half Fisher More came out hungry and brought the game to 1-1 after good play down the left wing.
The impressive Bartosz Jagiello then made it 2-1 to Park before a late equaliser from Fisher More.
With the game looking like it would finish as a draw Connor Smith drove the ball home with 2 minutes remaining to make it 3-2 to Park and ensure the team finished the Pendle League unbeaten.

Many of the Park High staff have had the absolute pleasure of enjoying Stage Door Youth Theatre's production of 'Broadway Lights, West End Nights' this evening. Mrs Lowden, Miss Fielding, Mrs Massey, Mrs Gibbons, Mrs Hooper and Mrs Carson saw a 'multitude of stars' who certainly did not 'stick to the status quo' create 'electricity' amongst their audience at the Municipal Hall in Colne. Many of our fabulous students have worked tirelessly rehearsing (alongside other local young people), for what was an absolutely fantastic performance. We are so very proud of them all.
Stage Door have a New Member Evening for any of our interested students on Thursday 20th April at 6pm. For more information, contact janparky@hotmail.com
In partnership with Star Institute to ensure the very best training for new teachers, Park Senior Leaders thoroughly enjoyed working with ECT Year 2 Scientists this evening, delivering a great seminar as part of the Pennine Lancashire Hub. The focus was looking at Anticipating and addressing common misconceptions #Collaboration #CPD #ImprovingStudentOutcomes.
British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. We are so excited to be getting involved at Park with a whole school poster competition. Students in Key Stage 3 will also be taking part in some exciting and creative activities in their lessons (photos to follow later in the week!). The idea behind the Science Week programme is to raise awareness, spark enthusiasm and celebrate STEM subjects with people of all ages and from all walks of life.
6 of our students competed in the University Challenge style quiz and Survival Debate at Nelson & Colne College last week as part of the Boat Race Challenge 2023. The team competed against their counterparts from neighbouring Pendle Schools and did Park proud. The 6 students have successfully made it through to the team representing Park High following a rigorous application and interview process. #boatracechallenge
Hello Park Family! We just wanted to give a huge shout out to our Year 8's for being an absolute credit to the school on their careers visits! We couldn't be more proud of how they represented the Park family!
