Park Family 'Edinburgh Fringe Award Winners' Shine at the Hippodrome!

Some of our very talented students have this evening entertained their 'home crowd' at the Pendle Hippodrome performing their award-winning 'Beware the Jabberwork'.

The students belong to Enigma group, a section of the Stage Door Theatre Company who have recently performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2023. In order to fulfil the fantastic opportunity of taking their production to the Royal Mile, they had to work hard to raise £7000 with the support of their family and friends. When they arrived at Waverley, their work was not complete -they then had to drum up crowds using clever street performances to entice people to come to their daily shows.

Not only did they get some incredible reviews and thoroughly enjoy their experience, but they had the opportunity to meet the author of The Jabberwock himself and even land themselves a prestigious Derek Award for 'Best Young Cast'.
