Headteacher's Blog

It has been delightful to welcome back everyone in the Park family.  The children look super smart, many of them in the new Park uniform, and they are wearing their uniforms with pride which is lovely to see.  They have been courteous and kind to each other and as a result many children have earnt the prestigious Park Point, which I'm sure you will be hearing much more about in the coming weeks.  The children have been involved in many extra-curricular activities, enjoying football, drama and dance with many more to come and we have launched our Young Enterprise initiative to Years 9 and 10 with much interest.  The school is looking fantastic, thanks to the amazing work of the premises team over summer.  There are new tables and chairs in all classrooms and the whole school has been painted, we have new ceilings and lighting in much of the building and new signage throughout school.  The last of these looks fantastic, but has definitely kept staff and students on their toes looking for Zone 4!!  I'm really looking forward to all that this academic year will bring and I want to personally thank each and every one of our students for making the start of this academic year the best it can be.
