Year 10 Girls football

Our Year 10 girls travelled to Rossall in the Lancashire Cup expecting a tough game but hoping to progress to the next round.  

In an intense and high-scoring match the girls took an early lead with a fantastic goal from Isla Holgate. Both teams showcased their attacking prowess, with numerous goals throughout the game, Isla Holgate scored a fantastic hat trick for Park.  In the end the final score was 7-5 to Rossall but despite the defeat the teams resilience and determination shone through, especially in the second half when they rallied to narrow the gap. A special mention to Imogen Taylor who was solid in defence and worked tirelessly to get back in the game.
