Girls badminton

This week the Pendle Badminton tournaments started with the U14 and U16 singles.  

In the girls tournaments we had some competitive players in the U16 and Imogen Taylor reached the final of the event.  Despite a great effort she was unlucky to lose 21-19 in the final.

Earlier in the week the U14 girls had some excellent performances with Kara Turner, Ava Garner and Martha Pearson all making the semi finals before Ava and Martha contested an all Park final. In a good game it was Ava who was the eventual winner being crowned Pendle Champion.
