Celebration of Languages

For the last two weeks form time reading has been themed around celebrating the many different languages spoken within school and within the local community. This was kindly prepared by Mrs Mitchell, Mrs Ramsay, Amanda He (Year 7) and Sarah Holda (Year 7). This has given our pupils an opportunity to develop their cultural and moral education and the British Value of Respect by learning about the different cultures and languages within Park High School, the community and beyond. These stories recognise that all cultures have their own unique traditional stories that teach us morals and help us to understand the world we grow up in. The key message to promote is that: we can all learn from each other.  We are fortunate to celebrate the fact that staff and students at Park speak 18 different languages collectively!
