Netball Nations Cup Final
Our Year 8, 9 and 10 netball squads took to Leeds to watch the semi-final and final games of the Netball Nations Cup this Sunday!
Sunday was not the day of rest for our netballers who travelled to Leeds on Sunday to watch the international Vitality Nations Netball Cup!
Game 1 saw New Zealand's Silver Ferns beat Uganda 65-60 in a thrilling semi final.
Game 2 was the final for the tournament where our England Roses took on the world number 1 squad, Australia. Unfortunately, the Roses lost to the stronger side with the score finishing 69-49 to Australia. However, this didn't stop our girls from immersing themselves in the buzzing atmosphere at the First Direct Arena (some of our girls even managed to catch the beanie hats which were shot out of a cannon!)
