Netball winners all around!

Both our Year 9 and 10 netball teams have been playing in the Pendle Schools' netball festivals over the past 4 weeks. Both teams have been first class, after years of playing together you can see the bond the girls have formed to create two amazing teams.

In Year 9, we have had 10 players eager to play each week, this pushed the girls to try new positions and take turns in subbing off during games to allow their team mates to have opportunity to play. The respect that these girls have for one another and ther opposition is a pleasure to watch! 

This week was our Year 10 team's final week of playing netball for Park, this team have no lost a game in the Pendle league since starting in Year 7 together. All girls gave 110% throughout their 4 years of playing and are a credit to the school. We hope that they all continue their involvement in the game outside of school and smash some of the local ladies' leagues!
