More badminton success!

Last Tuesday evening saw the U16 girls doubles Pendle badminton tournament hosted at Park.

We had representation from Isla Holgate, Isabelle Reilly, Phoebe Law, Lexi Tillotson, Lottie Hesketh, Esther Davies, Imogen Taylor and Hannah Beebe.

There were some fantastic displays of talent within several games during the initial rounds of play.

After some well fought rallies, Imogen and Hannah were the winners of their group which saw them reach the semi-finals against Primet opponents.  Park won this game because of their excellent communication skills and teamwork. Imogen and Hannah then had to face their Fisher More opponents in the final. After falling behind in the first few points, they dug deep and played some rallies which required both stamina and determination to outwit their opponents for the remainder of the match. This resulted in a deserving victory for Imogen and Hannah who were crowned U16 2025 Pendle badminton champions. A fantastic achievement. Congratulations and well done to all the girls!
