Year 7 girls progress in Lancashire Cup

The Year 7 girls football team secured an impressive 2-0 victory in their latest match, showcasing great skill and teamwork throughout.

Poppy-Lea Eastwood opened the scoring with a well-taken goal, setting the tone for the rest of the game. Betsy Matthews doubled the lead with an equally composed finish, ensuring a comfortable win for the team.

Heidi Robinson and Madison Holmes were standout performers on the day, with Robinson controlling the midfield and Holmes delivering a commanding defensive display. Their efforts played a pivotal role in the team’s success.
